Many clubs need coaches. Parents and young players fill the gap.

Many clubs are short on trained coaches. Teams often only run because parents and young players step in. Their commitment is great, but without training, practice often falls short of what the kids deserve.

That is exactly why we built PRACTX. PRACTX gives first-time coaches the confidence not just to supervise kids but to really develop them – even if you have never played basketball yourself. We believe there are many people who would love to take on this great volunteer role but have not dared to until now. PRACTX is their little digital coaching mentor.

For first-time coaches

Learning by doing: you learn to coach while you coach.

Structure you pick up
Every session has a clear build-up. With each practice you see how a good session is put together.
Drills that fit the age
You see which drill is meant for which age group, so you don’t have to work it out yourself.
Goals, not day-to-day
You don’t plan from one day to the next, but weeks ahead with development goals.
Challenges, not solutions
You learn that kids don’t get better from solutions handed to them, but from new challenges.
More time for the kids
With theory and organization taking up less room, the human side counts again.

For experienced coaches

You know how to coach. PRACTX brings you fresh ideas and saves you the time around it.

Less organization
Schedules, cancellations, jerseys and messages run in one app instead of three group chats.
Communication that runs itself
Changes to time or place reach players and parents automatically, and the practice report for parents writes itself.
Fresh practice ideas
PRACTX AI and the growing drill library bring drills and CLA variations you might not have thought of.
Weak spots, tackled on purpose
Your stats show which focus areas you worked on and what fell short.

See the drill. Know the goal.

Recorded specifically for PRACTX, our videos explain more than the setup. Learn what each drill develops and what to look for as you coach.

The goal
Know why you are using the drill.
The setup
See how to organize and run it.
The coaching
Vary the drills and adapt them to the situation and the level of your players.

Constraints Led Approach CLA

One drill. Different challenges. Fewer dribbles, a different hand or a time limit: use simple rules to adapt a familiar drill. These conditions are called constraints. This is how players learn to find solutions in the situation.

For example:
CLA: cross half-court within 4 seconds
COACH: 4-3-2-1 turnover
Solution: long pass instead of going 1-on-1

Weak hand only
Max 2 dribbles
4 seconds
Defense without hands

Choose a constraint that fits the drill and its development goal.

Keep your team connected.

Coach Channel

The Coach Channel is your voice to players and parents. Every change to practice time or location is shared there automatically, too. Parents have their own channel to help with organization; you only get looped in when it matters to you.

Rules & Philosophy

Team rules, training principles and the coaching philosophy stay available to players; the parent view is coming soon. This makes expectations and coaching decisions easier to understand.

Try it yourself

Parents Summary

Keep parents informed.

After practice, parents receive a short recap of what the team worked on. They stay informed, can ask more specific questions and get a clearer sense of the structure behind each practice.
